I dream of
camping in a forest, untouched by manmade lights.
Let the
singing birds wake us up, no matter the hour.
We’ve
brought a book to read.
Something
short and sweet, like The Princess Bride,
or some E. E. Cummings.
When we get
home, our eves have been washed by the starlight and we’ve never felt more
grateful for the soft, familiar-smelling mattress.
Our days
are a mash of artistic ventures and poetic
musings, and while you make your art, I write and read, and soak up information
like a sponge.
I apply my
wild flights of information to create space, to help companies and people with
the world vision I share to amplify themselves and touch people in that so-human,
and personal way.
This dream is not far from reality.
Every day I craft a life of living more with less.
I love minimalism, English Prime (a derivative of English
meant to enhance clarity), and advocation.
I dream of living in a solitary, forested area, of having
ample opportunity to travel, and of being able to indulge my artistic side
while maintaining an urgent, and important connectedness to current world
happenings.
Pen and paper have a romantic element in my life.
The theory I took from "The Alphabet Versus the Goddess: The Conflict Between Word and Image" by Leonard Shlain suggested that the power of spoken word differs dramatically from that of the written one.
The overpowering force of the alphabet brought in an age of extreme reason, and left "feminine" oral tradition in the dust.
Finding balance in this world of creative expression and connection to all is what drives me.
